This photo as well as all the others in part four of this series were taken from outside the gates of Forest Lawn. This was unavoidable since the large and famous gated cemetary was locked up tight during the weeks following the October storm. Perhaps it was too unsafe to allow people to wander unsupervised. The damage was no doubt extensive and far more extensive than we could document from outside the cemetary grounds looking in through its fences. So our documention of the damge within Forest Lawn is extremely limited. You see here only what the public could see outside the Forst Lawn gates and iron fences.
